Job summary

Foster Farms is hiring Production Operators to support our food manufacturing operations in Compton, CA. This role involves transporting ingredients, operating equipment, and maintaining production flow in a fast-paced environment.

The 2nd shift offers a pay rate of $19.91 per hour plus a $0.50 shift premium. Candidates should be able to stand, lift up to 65 pounds, and follow HACCP/GMP standards while ensuring quality throughout the production line.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn to use equipment and tools safely.
• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures.
• Understand SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures).
• Understand MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets).
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and maintain filling in production equipment.
• Handle and stage tortillas for production.
• Monitor production lines, perform quality checks, and make minor repairs or adjustments as required.
• Assemble and set up production equipment.
• Transport materials between staging and production areas.
• Clean equipment and complete required documentation.
• Follow food safety (HACCP), GMP, and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
