Job description

Job Title: Production Operator

Company: Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, located in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Position Overview: The Production Operator is responsible for the final stages of product manufacturing before shipping. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork skills, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform production line tasks such as reworking, packing, and sorting parts.
2. Assist press operators with setup procedures.
3. Ensure blanks are properly positioned in the die during hot stamping.
4. Support departments including maintenance, tooling, quality, and logistics.
5. Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
6. Use welding and grinding hand tools.
7. Maintain and improve housekeeping in the work area.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.
• Ability to meet quotas and standards through repetitive tasks.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Willingness to work on a 3-shift rotation: Midnight, Day, Afternoon, including overtime.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanical inclination.
