Job summary

Cranswick plc is seeking Food Production Operatives for the Assembly department at Yorkshire Baker. You will be part of a team on the line, packing or servicing to support quality standards and meet targets under the Area Manager's guidance.

Ideal candidates are reliable, with good English, basic health & safety understanding and a team-oriented approach. Salary to be discussed at interview stage. The role operates on a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Work on the production line or packing line following product specs and report anomalies.

• Maintain a clean, safe, hygienic production area and wear PPE as required.
• Report equipment defects to the Area Supervisor / Team Leader.
• Assist during internal / external audits and adhere to company rules.

Food Production Operatives |Assembly Area |Days |4 on, 4 off

We are currently recruiting Food Production Operatives to join our team, in our Assembly department, here at Yorkshire Baker. The main purpose of this job is to work as part of the team, either on the line, in packing or service to provide support to the Area Manager and production team by promoting, supporting and ensuring quality standards are delivered at all times

Main duties include (but not limited to):

• Under the guidance of the Area Manager, ensure that each product specification is followed, and any anomalies are reported immediately
• Work on the production line or packing line, ensuring all rules and regulations are followed
• Ensure that any production targets set by the Area Manager are met; or if this is not possible, shortfalls are reported to the relevant person in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and tidy area (work, changing room, canteen etc), meeting both safety and hygiene regulations of the site
• Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times within the Production Area
• Report any equipment defects immediately to the Area Supervisor / Team Leader
• Behave in a safe and appropriate manner at all times
• Assist during internal / external audits as required
• Adhere to all Company Rules and Policies
• Maintain high levels of work performance including attendance, timekeeping etc
