Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH in Greenwood, IN is seeking a Manufacturing Team Manager to oversee production operations, develop schedules, and ensure products are produced on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This onsite role emphasizes safety, cost control and delivery reliability.

You will lead production teams, drive continuous improvement, manage budgets, and coordinate with cross‑functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations Management.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing or production operations.
• Deep knowledge of production management, manufacturing processes, and industry regulations.
• Experience with ERP or S&OP preferred.
• Ability to motivate teams, coordinate activities, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules, coordinate activities, and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Secure safety of the people, processes and manufactured/delivered products (quality, delivery, cost)
• Secure the quality, via SOP audit dialogues, and execution of the SOPs.
• Control quality, deviations and line stops.
• Manage operational budgets, control costs, and identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Manage own cost account, P4.
• Supervise and lead production teams, fostering a productive work environment and ensuring staff meet their potential.
• By own presence drive performance of the team and employees.
• Ensure production equipment functions correctly and schedule routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental protection requirements.
• Drive performance meetings, improvement meetings and related activities.
• Set and follow up targets for the team and each employee, broken down from unit level.
• Execute perform audits according to ALPS.
