Job summary

ConocoPhillips is seeking a Production Operations Multi-Skill Operator for the Eagle Ford asset in Kenedy, TX. This onsite role focuses on monitoring and improving production across wells, tanks, meters, and separators, with hands-on equipment work and safety leadership.

You will work at field sites, operate gas lift and compression systems, and enter data into electronic systems while meeting strict HSE standards. A 40-mile relocation radius is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of direct experience with oil and gas production practices, equipment, and terminology.
• 1+ years of well gas lift operations experience.
• 1+ years of operating and troubleshooting rental/company owned compressors.
• 1+ years of testing wells and operating sand traps and flowback equipment.
• Advanced knowledge in start-up of new wells, facilities, and pipelines.
• Proficiency with electronic remote well supervision to optimize production (Cygnet, CP).
• Willing to relocate within 40 miles of Kenedy, TX.
• Ability to work in extremes, outdoors, and on weekends/on call.

Responsibilities

• Safely starting up new wells and facilities.

ConocoPhillips was one of the first companies into the liquids play, resulting in a low-cost entry into this acreage. In 2009, the company began exploring the development potential of this play and by year-end 2023 held approximately 199,000 net unconventional leasehold and mineral acres, primarily in DeWitt, Karnes and Live Oak counties. We hold approximately 489,000 net acres in the Eagle Ford, located in south Texas. The current focus is on full-field development, using customized well spacing and stacking patterns adapted through reservoir analysis. We operated seven rigs and three frac crews on average during 2025, resulting in 251 operated wells drilled and 264 operated wells brought online. During 2025, net production averaged 390 MBOED**Position Overview**If you are selected as the Production Operations Multi-Skill Operator (MSO) for the Eagle Ford Asset, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving production. You will perform most of your responsibilities at the well site via a company provided vehicle.
