Apple Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning Scientist for AppleCare WW Demand Planning in Sunnyvale, CA.

You will join a diverse team to operationalize forecasting models, turning complex analyses into scalable, self‑improving production systems that help ensure parts and devices are available where needed. You’ll deploy models with rigorous software engineering practices, collaborate with data scientists and planners, and contribute to productionizing advanced ML techniques while communicating

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, ML, Statistics, OR related field with 3+ years deploying ML models
• Applied ML: deploy models in real-world environments, esp. time series forecasting, anomaly detection, or optimization
• Proficient in Python with object-oriented design, data structures, and testable code
• Expert SQL and experience with large-scale data processing (Snowflake, Oracle, Spark, Hadoop)
• Strong ability to translate math concepts into actionable insights for stakeholders and leadership

Responsibilities

• Operationalize and scale forecasting models in production
• Work with a diverse team of data scientists and planners to deliver robust systems
• Build infrastructure to deploy self-improving models that impact resource availability for millions
• Collaborate with teams to ensure reliability and performance of production ML pipelines
