Come join HARIBO of America’s first ever North American factory! Located on-site in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, the Production Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on processing equipment and related infrastructure.
Reporting to the Manager of Packaging & Technology, the Production Mechanic - 3rd Shift is responsible for assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining production equipment, apparatus, and fixtures using hand and power tools. Collaborate with Electrical and Automation Technicians, as well as other employees, to maintain the equipment and optimize processes. Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and drive equipment improvements. The Production Mechanic will partner with support functions to identify and resolve unplanned downtime events, quality, safety, cost, and other losses attributed to the area, using problem-solving techniques and a continuous improvement mindset.
