Job summary

InPower is seeking a warehouse/production control associate in Houston to support the flow of materials and meet production schedules. You will monitor inventory, input and maintain production data in ERP/MRP, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve delays.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, and strict adherence to safety protocols including PPE.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and transport materials using pallet jacks or equipment.
  • Ensure timely movement of materials throughout the facility.
  • Safely stack, organize, and store materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
  • Assist in keeping the warehouse and production areas clean and organized.
  • Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to meet production schedules.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including PPE use.
  • Conduct routine checks and maintenance on material handling equipment.
  • Operate, set up, and maintain labeling equipment to print and apply labels.
  • Inspect finished labels for spelling, lot numbers, production/expiration dates, and adhesion.
  • Monitor supplies (labels, ribbons, glue, ink), reorder as needed.
  • Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance; escalate complex issues to maintenance or IT.
