Job summary

BAE Systems, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to ensure uninterrupted production flow by moving materials for production use and recording accurate inventory transactions.

The role operates in a moderate to fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on quality and timely completion, reporting to the department manager or group line leader. The position follows a schedule from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, supporting operations in Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing/stockroom experience or equivalent
• Ability to read work documents and communicate clearly
• ERP experience, preferably Oracle, and cycle counting experience
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of work processes
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must use both hands to manipulate items

Responsibilities

• Move materials to support production lines and workflows
• Record inventory transactions for materials stored or transferred
• Maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment
• Report to department manager or group leader for assignments and assistance
