Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) is seeking a production materials assistant at our USA NE – Columbus location. You will move raw, in-process, and finished goods, perform SAP/MES transactions, and support production with accurate material flow, documentation, and compliant processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include safe transport of materials, unloading/loading, waste disposal, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience acceptable in lieu of diploma.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read/write and speak English; follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to/from production area.
• Record SAP/MES transactions accurately.
• Safely move and load materials.Assist with waste disposal and housekeeping.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
