Job summary

Swiss American CDMO in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate for 1st shift. You will follow SOPs for releasing raw materials and finished goods, operate the AWS inventory system, and move materials with a forklift to support production.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years in warehousing or logistics; operating a sit-down forklift and EPJ rider jack is required. Strong English communication and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Follows SOPs, especially for releasing raw materials and finished goods.
  • Gains familiarity with the AWS inventory control system.
  • Transfers bulk compounds from QC hold to released product area.
  • Transfers QC approved raw materials to the released raw materials area.
  • Picks, posts, and stages raw materials for production batches.
  • Informs scheduler of raw materials shortages or AWS discrepancies.
  • Conducts inventory counts as needed.
  • Returns materials from production to released areas.
  • Transfers QC approved finished goods to released finished goods areas.
  • Monitors labeling and creates new IDs when needed.
  • Supplies pallets for production; moves pallets with forklift.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Job Location: Corporate - CARROLLTON, TX 75006

Pary Range: $18-$21

1st shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Follows all SOPs but particularly follows the ones specific to releasing raw materials and finished goods.
  • Gains familiarity and expertise with the automated warehouse inventory control system (AWS).
  • Transfers bulk compounds from the QC hold area to the released product area of the warehouse.
  • Transfers QC approved raw materials from the receiving area to the released raw materials storage area of the warehouse.
  • Picks, posts, and stages raw materials for production batches.
  • Informs the Master production scheduler of any shortage of raw materials or discrepancy between AWS and physical inventory count.
  • Conducts inventory counts when necessary.
  • Returns materials from production back into the released products areas of the warehouse.
  • Transfers QC approved finished goods from the QC hold area to the released finished goods storage areas of the warehouse.
  • Monitors identification labeling of all materials in the warehouse and generates a new ID label when necessary.
  • Supplies production with pallets whenever necessary.
  • Moves pallets of finished goods using a forklift for production when necessary.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
QualificationsEssential Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment preferred.
  • Sit-down forklift and EPJ (rider jack). Experience operating both is required for this role.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
