Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking teammates for our Wisconsin operations. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, basic math skills, and a strong commitment to food safety and quality in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inventory control, shipping/receiving documentation, and adhering to GMP and safety policies. The role supports Saputo’s manufacturing excellence across shifts on site in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of production and plant processes.
  • Ability to work scheduled hours and required overtime as needed.
  • Reliability, honesty, respect, attention to detail, and punctuality.
  • Basic analytical and numerical skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Clear and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Loads and unloads materials and product from trucks.
  • Rotates inventory and maintains inventories and records.
  • Transports materials and product to designated areas.
  • Maintains internal warehouse and external inventories and supplies.
  • Completes shipping and receiving records, tagging, and documentation.
  • Coordinates warehouse racking and space for maximum efficiency.
  • Reads and comprehends production worksheets.
  • Keeps work area neat, clean, and organized at all times.
  • Attends mandatory safety and departmental meetings.
  • Can rotate into all positions on the line.
  • Boxes and palletizes boxes with accurate counts and proper identification.
  • Performs other assigned responsibilities.
  • Adheres to safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter
  • Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures including but not limited to, GMP, SOP, HACCP, SSOP, and H&S.
  • Loads and unloads materials and product from trucks.
  • Rotates inventory and maintains accurate inventories and required inventory records.
  • Transports materials and product from storage or work sites to designated areas.
  • Maintains internal warehouse.
  • Maintains external warehouse inventories and supplies.
  • Completes all shipping and receiving record keeping, tagging, and documentation.
  • Utilizes and coordinates warehouse racking and space to maximum efficiency.
  • Ability to read and comprehend production worksheets.
  • Keep work area neat, clean, and organized at all times.
  • Make productive use of down time.
  • Attends various mandatory safety and departmental meetings.
  • Able to rotate into all positions on the line.
  • Box and palletize boxes according to instructions: ensuring accurate counts and proper identification.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

You Are Best Suited For The Role If You Have The Following Experiences, Skills, and Qualifications
  • Have a working knowledge of the production and plant processes.
  • Ability to work scheduled hours and required overtime as needed.
  • Display’s traits of reliability, honesty, respect, attention to detail, and punctuality.
  • Have basic analytical and numerical skills and the ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement.
  • Can communicate effectively and efficiently.
  • Have a working knowledge of Safety Methods and Procedures.
  • Is self-motivated, able to multi-task, and can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Is committed to food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and positively represents and promotes Saputo at all times.
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid), standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift.
  • Physical lifting up to 40-lbs unassisted frequently throughout the shift.
  • Working with chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment, and following approved chemical handling procedures.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
