Job summary

US Farathane in Missouri is looking for a 1st Shift Production Material Handler to support daily manufacturing operations. You will put away finished product, stock presses, and keep work areas clear while adhering to forklift safety guidelines.

The role includes housekeeping, maintaining returnable storage, and ensuring aisles are clear in a climate-controlled environment. Strong reading, basic math, and multitasking are essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training; hi-lo experience.
Ability to read and understand simple instructions and write basic correspondence; present information.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic with two-digit numbers and multiples of 10s/100s.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured way.

Responsibilities

Put away finished product correctly.
Perform housekeeping duties per verification standards.
Keep presses stocked with totes and skids.
Maintain returnable storage area stocked and accessible.
Keep front/back aisles clear at all times.
Remove stock and equipment during mold changes.
Follow safety standards for forklift operation.
Perform any other duties as assigned.

US Farathane is seeking a 1st Shift Production Material Handler.

US Farathane has been a leading source of plastics manufacturing, supplying the automotive industry for over 40 years. Through highly technical research and development, coupled with a diverse and knowledgeable Management Team and dedicated Associates, US Farathane has continued to grow each year. We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black-box design concepts to highly engineered composites, TPE’s and TPO’s as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Put away finished product correctly
Perform all Housekeeping duties in conformance to the Housekeeping Verification
Keep presses stocked with totes and skids
Keep returnable storage area stocked
Keep front wall, front aisle, and back aisle clear at all times
Remove all stock, packaging, and assembly equipment from the press at the time of all mold changes
Keep returnable lids picked up
Follow and enforce safety standards for the operation of the forklift truck
Any other duties as assigned by Plant Supervision

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Hi-lo experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to recognize numbers and not transpose digits.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
