Sustainable Staffing Inc. in McHenry, IL is seeking a Production Material Handler to support our medical device manufacturing operations on the first shift (Mon-Fri, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.).

This role involves replenishment, kanban-based order fulfillment, inventory control with RF scanners, and cart/pallet handling on the production floor. The ideal candidate has at least one year of material handling experience, forklift familiarity, basic computer data-entry skills, and strong English

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of material handler experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is required but not primary responsibility.
• May use various production machines with mechanical or electronic controls.
• Computer and data entry experience; comfortable using computers and learning new software.
• Using RF scanner, carts, and pallet jacks.
• Must be able to read, understand and communicate in English.
• No HS diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Execute replenishment reports per Instructions.
• Fulfill orders according to Kanban system.
• Verify orders quantities using computer and RF scanner.
• Stock carts and deliver to set up areas on the production floor.
• Follow department procedures, work aids, work orders, and work instructions.
• Manually integrate RTS items for use with new orders.
• Ensure documentation and inventories are maintained per instructions.
• Maintain effective communication with Supervisor and Leads.

Location: McHenry, IL 60050

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr

Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Production Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities

• Executes replenishment report per Instructions

• Fulfill orders according to Kanban system

• Verify orders quantities using computer and RF scanner

• Follow verbal and written department procedures, work aids, work orders, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions and/or procedure manuals.

• Manually integrate Return to Stock (RTS) items for use with new orders.

• Assure tha proper documentation and inventories are maintained following instructions

• Maintains effective lines of communication with the Supervisor and Lead person(s) to keep them informed of issues.
