Job summary

Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd is launching a new PC-12 final assembly operation in Sarasota, Florida. We seek an experienced Production Material Coordinator to ensure work orders are materially ready and to resolve shortages before they affect assembly.

The role includes hands-on training within Pilatus’ material-management organization in Stans, Switzerland during the first 9 months, with travel required.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations or related field.
• Three+ years in material control, production support, material planning, logistics or manufacturing coordination.
• Experience with SAP, preferably SAP S/4HANA PP/MM.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate material availability for upcoming aircraft, work orders and assembly activities.
• Identify missing, blocked, incorrect or unavailable parts and maintain a prioritized shortage overview.
• Coordinate shortage actions with Tactical Purchasing, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, Production Planning and Production.
• Lead material-readiness and missing-parts meetings, follow up actions and escalate risks affecting schedule.
• Verify material received, inspected, released and available at point of use before work begins.
• Monitor parts affected by quality issues or configuration changes until final resolution.

Production Material Coordinator

Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd. is launching a new PC-12 final assembly operation in Sarasota, Florida. To establish this operation successfully, we are seeking an experienced Production Material Coordinator to ensure upcoming work orders are materially ready and that shortages, blocked parts and supply risks are resolved before they affect assembly.

The successful candidate will complete advanced, hands-on training within the established Pilatus material-management organization in Stans, Switzerland. Training will be completed during the initial 9 months of employment and will require international travel.

What you do

• Evaluate material availability for upcoming aircraft, work orders and assembly activities across defined readiness horizons.
• Identify missing, blocked, incorrect or unavailable parts and maintain one accurate, prioritized shortage and material-readiness overview.
• Coordinate shortage actions with Tactical Purchasing, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, Production Planning and Production, including clear owners and required dates.
• Lead material-readiness and missing-parts meetings, follow up open actions and escalates risks that could affect the assembly schedule.
• Verify that required material has been received, inspected, released, picked and made available at the correct point of use before work begins.
• Monitor parts affected by quality issues, engineering or configuration changes, repairs, substitutions and inventory discrepancies until final resolution.

What you bring

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Three or more years of material control, production support, material planning, logistics or manufacturing coordination experience.
• Working knowledge of MRP, production orders, bills of material, inventory, material status and shortage-management processes.
• Experience with SAP, preferably SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM).
• Strong Excel, analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to convert complex material information into clear actions and priorities.
• Clear communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to drive actions across Purchasing, Logistics, Production, Engineering and Quality.
