Job summary

Crossroadsstaffing in Oxnard, CA is seeking an entry‑level Masker to join the production team. You will work with maskants and coatings, following work orders and customer specifications to ensure quality results. The role includes potential assembly, disassembly, and prep work as needed.

The position offers a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, with Saturday overtime. A HS diploma or GED and attention to detail are essential, with room to grow through direct experience in production

Responsibilities

• Manually apply coating and maskant coatings as indicated by work order and customer specs.
• May perform assembly, disassembly and prepping per job instructions.
• Ensure even coating is applied to parts and perform re-work on parts failing inspection.
• Maintain housekeeping to meet quality and safety requirements.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description

Will be a critical part of production, working as a team to maximize productivity. Maskers work with different maskants and tools such as tape, lacquers, acetone and blades. Will support quality initiatives, which include our Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, and Quality Management System. Responsible manually applying coating applications and maskant coating adhesives as indicated by work order and customer specifications. May perform tasks such as assembly, disassembly and prepping in accordance with job instructions. Ensure even coating is applied to parts. Conduct re-work on parts failing inspection process. Perform all work in accordance with company safety regulations and maintain the highest of quality standards in the execution of all assigned work. Perform routine housekeeping of immediate work area to comply with quality and safety requirements. Other duties as assigned by management.
