Job summary

Our client, a global manufacturer of precision measurement technology, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead its Windsor, CT operation. This hands-on leadership role focuses on improving day-to-day production while building a more efficient and scalable operation.

You will lead the production team, manage scheduling and capacity, improve processes and throughput, and partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Purchasing to balance current needs with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher is required.
• 7+ years of production operations leadership experience required.
• Lean manufacturing/process improvement experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and production employees.
• Manage production schedules, priorities, capacity, labor, and resources.
• Ensure safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and on-time delivery goals are met.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on improving day-to-day production while building a more efficient and scalable operation. You'll lead the production team, manage scheduling and capacity, improve processes and throughput, establish meaningful KPIs, and partner closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Purchasing. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader and change agent who understands the broader manufacturing operation and can balance today's production needs with future growth, including potential expansion into additional manufacturing capabilities.

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and production employees
• Manage production schedules, priorities, capacity, labor, and resources
• Ensure safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and on-time delivery goals are met
