Job summary

Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company, is seeking a Production Manager based in Dallas, Texas. You will report to senior operations leadership and oversee production planning, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to launch new products while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will lead a diverse team, manage budgets, forecast costs, and drive efficiencies across manufacturing, planning, and distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 5 years of operations experience.
• Demonstrates advanced people and/or process management skills.
• Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes and interdependencies.

Responsibilities

• Guides department activities to support new product designs, modify existing designs, and improve production techniques.
• Explores technology trends and market demand to plan projects.
• Collaborates with management, production, and marketing to resolve feasibility, cost, and customer demand for new/existing products.
• Forecasts operating costs and directs budget requests.
• Partners with teams to develop strategic plans and the Annual Operating Plan.
• Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and manpower needs.
• Prioritizes production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinates production with planning and distribution.
• Selects and develops personnel to ensure efficient operation.
• Ensures production quality and cost targets are met.
• Deals with complex problems requiring evaluation of data.
• Reviews budgets and schedules for management.
• Maintains relations with executives and major customers.
• Resolves controversial situations and negotiations up to plant management.
