Job summary

Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions is seeking a Production Manager for an international automotive parts manufacturer in the Northwest of the Indianapolis area. The role leads daily production activities, supervises staff, ensures safety and quality, and collaborates with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering and other departments.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of production or manufacturing management experience, with metal stamping expertise and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in production or manufacturing management preferred.
• Experience with metal stamping required.
• Experience with welding, assembly, or similar manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or quality systems is a plus.
• Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift up to 30 pounds.
