Agropur Cooperative in Wisconsin seeks a Production Manager – Cheddar, Whey, Intake to lead high-volume cheddar production. You will drive safety, quality, cost, and delivery while building strong teams and a culture of accountability.

The role emphasizes process optimization, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement to meet plant performance goals and regulatory standards. A strong background in food manufacturing and leadership is essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, engineering, operations, or related field.
• 10+ years in manufacturing operations, dairy preferred.
• 5+ years in leadership, managing teams in a production environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end cheddar production operations, ensuring alignment with plant and business objectives.
• Drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity (SQDCP) metrics.
• Champion continuous improvement, lead Lean initiatives to enhance performance.
• Manage departmental budgets and drive cost control and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, GMPs, and production standards.
• Standardize SOPs, optimize processes for yield and throughput.
• Lead, coach and develop teams, fostering accountability and engagement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive alignment and resolve issues.
• Support audits and perform root-cause analysis for sustainable solutions.
