Responsibilities

  • Lead daily manufacturing operations to safely achieve production, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives while ensuring execution of the production plan.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput, improve schedule attainment, and optimize labor utilization.
  • Coach and develop supervisors and production teams while fostering accountability and a high-performance culture.
  • Analyze production KPIs and data to identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Materials to improve material flow and meet customer commitments.
  • Identify production constraints and support implementation of operational enhancements for safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.

We are looking for a Production Manager. This position will be based in Grand Prairie, TX.

The Production Manager is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient execution of the production plan. This role provides hands-on leadership to the production organization, with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost. You will help drive operational excellence within a rapidly growing manufacturing facility by developing teams, improving production performance, supporting culture transformation, and leveraging data-driven decision making to achieve business objectives.

You'll make a difference by:
  • Leading daily manufacturing operations to safely achieve production, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives while ensuring execution of the production plan.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives that increase throughput, improve schedule attainment, optimize labor utilization, reduce operational inefficiencies, and support scalable manufacturing growth.
  • Building, coaching, and developing supervisors and production teams while fostering accountability, collaboration, strong employee engagement, and a high-performance culture.
  • Analyzing production KPIs and operational data to identify performance gaps, prioritize opportunities, and implement sustainable corrective actions that improve manufacturing performance.
  • Partnering with Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Materials teams to improve material flow, resolve production challenges, and support customer commitments.
  • Identifying production constraints, recommending process improvements, and supporting the implementation of operational enhancements that improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
  • Supporting a rapidly expanding manufacturing operation by helping establish scalable processes, operational discipline, and leadership practices that enable future growth.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with the following:
  • Leading manufacturing, production, or operations teams within an assembly-based or industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Driving production performance, schedule attainment, labor utilization, capacity management, and operational efficiency.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing supervisors and manufacturing teams while promoting accountability and team performance.
  • Applying continuous improvement, structured problem solving, and operational excellence methodologies to improve business results.
  • Analyzing production KPIs and operational data to support decision making and drive measurable improvements.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, and Operations organizations.
  • Ability to work onsite, first shift starting at 7am in Grand Prairie, TX within a manufacturing environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading production operations within electrical products, power distribution, industrial, or automotive manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting high-growth, capacity expansion, ramp-up, or large-scale operational transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement methodologies, root-cause problem solving, and KPI-based daily management systems.
  • Experience using manufacturing performance metrics, business analytics, reporting tools, or data visualization platforms such as Tableau to support operational decision making.
