Job summary

Barbosa Cabinets Inc in Tracy, CA is looking for a Production Manager to oversee daily cabinet manufacturing operations, driving safety, quality, on-time delivery and cost improvements.

The role leads production teams, implements lean tools, and monitors KPIs while coordinating with Purchasing, Sales, Engineering and Maintenance. 4–10 years of management experience and a college degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or experience equivalent preferred.
• 4-10 years of management experience in manufacturing or cabinet industry.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.
• Knowledge of wood-working products used in cabinet manufacturing (preferred).
• Experience with lean and continuous improvement (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire production process from start to finish.
• Monitor workflow and resolve disruptions.
• Supervise, motivate and provide feedback to production staff.
• Set performance standards for direct reports and provide feedback.
• Assist direct reports in HR activities including recruitment, evaluations, promotions, disciplinary action and terminations.
• Organize and lead training activities.
• Utilize lean tools to drive continuous improvement.
• Liaise with Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, Engineering and Maintenance.
• Develop and utilize daily, weekly and monthly KPIs to monitor and report on performance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Function

Oversee daily operations for cabinet manufacturing. Initiate, Drive and Lead production teams focused on improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

Job Responsibilities

Oversee the entire production process from start to finish.

Monitor workflow and resolve disruptions.
