Job summary

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration required.
  • Experience in a discrete manufacturing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with clarity.
  • Ability to plan and execute production projects within milestones.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring and motivating team members.
  • Proven decision-making with a results-driven approach.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Production Supervisors to determine labor and equipment needs and adjust to meet plan demands.
  • Partner with Quality team to implement and monitor production processes and address quality issues.
  • Enforce safety and quality programs within production.
  • Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction while improving performance.
  • Direct fabrication of prototypes, tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Implement preventive maintenance and safety programs with Facilities Manager.
  • Lead production organization in providing training and setting expectations to meet production goals.
  • Review and analyze production performance data to identify constraints and drive continuous improvement.
