Job summary

Compositeradomes in Reno, NV is seeking a hands-on Production Lead to oversee daily manufacturing operations for composite products. You will manage schedules, enforce safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement to deliver on time and on budget.

The role requires leadership of diverse teams, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and experience with composites and vacuum bagging. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance are required.

The Role

Lead manufacturing operations at our Reno facility. Oversee daily production, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement so teams deliver on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of production schedules, ensuring on-time/on-budget delivery of quality products
• Supervise production teams, providing clear direction, motivation, and support to optimize performance
• Enforce safety standards in production areas
• Monitor manufacturing processes for quality control, ensuring products meet ISO 9001 quality guidelines and customer specifications
• Implement process improvements by analyzing workflow, identifying bottlenecks, and applying lean manufacturing principles
• Oversee the use of mechanical equipment, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Conduct regular safety audits, enforce heavy lifting protocols, and ensure compliance with all safety standards in production environments
