Job summary

Gettel Chevrolet Buick GMC in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking an experienced automotive dealership operations coordinator to streamline repair, reconditioning, and delivery flow. You will coordinate with service, parts, sales, and detail crews, manage recon bottlenecks, and ensure vehicles meet safety and aesthetic standards before sale or delivery.

The role requires 2–3 years in dealership operations, strong organization, and familiarity with DMS and inventory systems; we offer competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Coordinate repair, inspection, and cleaning schedules to minimize turn times.
• Monitor used and new vehicle inventory during recon, prioritizing high-demand units.
• Act as the central hub between sales, service, and porters to resolve delays quickly.
• Ensure every vehicle meets safety, mechanical, and cosmetic standards before sale or delivery.
• Analyze bottlenecks in recon and implement improvements to reduce days in stock.

• Analyze bottlenecks in the recon process and implement efficiency improvements to reduce the number of days a car sits idle off the market

• Strong interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams and hold internal departments accountable
