Job summary

Curaleaf is seeking a Production Manager to lead our Las Vegas production operations, driving safety, quality, efficiency, and team development.

Qualifications

  • Ensure SOPs and regulatory standards are followed across all activities.
  • Monitor product quality and collaborate with Quality teams to resolve issues.
  • Manage budgets, inventory, equipment, and production resources.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, training materials, and production documentation.
  • Lead performance reviews, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Analyze production data and report insights to Operations leadership.

Most importantly, you lead by example — supporting your team on the production floor, solving problems as they arise, and ensuring operations run safely, efficiently, and on schedule every day.

What You’ll Do

As a Production Manager at Curaleaf, you’ll lead the overall performance of our production operations by driving safety, quality, efficiency, and team development. You’ll oversee production planning, coach leaders, and use data to improve processes while ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory standards. You’ll partner closely with Operations leadership to keep production running smoothly, support business goals, and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Lead, coach, and develop Production Supervisors and their teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance
  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure schedules, quality standards, and production targets are consistently achieved
  • Drive operational excellence by monitoring KPIs, identifying process improvements, and implementing solutions that increase efficiency and productivity
  • Partner with Operations leadership to develop production schedules, allocate resources, and adjust priorities to meet business demands
  • Ensure all production activities comply with SOPs, cGMP standards, state regulations, and company safety policies
  • Monitor product quality throughout the production process, partnering with Quality teams to maintain consistency and resolve issues proactively
  • Manage departmental budgets, inventory, equipment, and production resources to support operational goals and cost efficiency
  • Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs, training programs, production documentation, and inventory records to support compliance and operational consistency
  • Lead performance management activities, including coaching, performance reviews, employee development, corrective action, and succession planning
  • Analyze production data and prepare regular reports for Operations leadership, providing insights, production updates, and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects that improve production capabilities, scalability, and overall operational performance
What You’ll Bring
  • 4+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, laboratory, or other regulated environment
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing production teams while creating a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of production processes, scheduling, inventory management, and meeting daily production goals
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, solve problems quickly, and keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using production metrics and KPIs to monitor performance, improve efficiency, and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Skilled in creating and maintaining SOPs, training materials, and production documentation while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint; experience with BioTrack or other seed-to-sale systems is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and support multiple priorities
  • Brings a hands‑on leadership style with the flexibility to jump in where needed, support the production floor, and lead by example
Even Better If
  • You bring at least 1 year of experience in the cannabis industry or another highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • You have experience with quality assurance, quality control, or laboratory operations is preferred
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this Job, the employeeis regularly required tostand, walk, sit,talkor hear, use hands to finger or feel, reach with hands and arms, andlift upto 50 pounds.

This position requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
