Job summary

Sunny Sky Products, LLC is seeking a Production Manager in Houston, TX. The role leads all production lines, works with Quality and Engineering, and drives productivity while maintaining SQF Level 2 certifications.

The position emphasizes on-time delivery, cost control, and staff development. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience, 5+ years in production/operations management, and beverage manufacturing exposure.

• Provide weekly/monthly KPI reporting.
• Monitor safety compliance across manufacturing operations.
• Assist in budget development and management.

We have generated an extensive product portfolio that includes frozen dispensed beverages, cold dispensed, hot dispensed and beverage enhancers.

The Production Manager will work closely with the Quality Manager and Processing Engineer toestablishproductivity goals,maintainall quality certifications (CurrentlySQF Level 2), ensure availability of products for on time delivery and control expenses to meet company financial goals.The production manager willassistthe production scheduler.

Essential Functions:

• Daily direction and managementof all production lines and personnel
• Provide coaching and direction to make certain expectations are met
• Review production reporting daily toidentifyopportunities for improvement
• Ensure Maintenance Dept. is minimizing downtime through proper PM’s and spare part inventory
• Provide weekly/monthly KPI reporting asrequired
• Monitor & ensure safety compliance throughout manufacturing
• Assistin developing and managing department budget
• Additionalresponsibilities as directed by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’sdegreepreferred but will considerrelative work experience
• 5+years’experienceas a production/operationsmanager
• 2– 5years’experienceinfood/beveragemanufacturingenvironment desired
• Excellentverbal and writtencommunication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in challenging situations while continuing to fill core responsibilities
• Ability to recruit and training in a “hands on” environment

This joboperatesin a fast-paced manufacturing facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is near moving mechanical parts and in high precarious places and is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 4p.m.or as agreed upon. Flexibility isrequiredfor this position. Occasional evening and weekend work may berequiredas job duties demand.

Little to no travel is expected for this position.
