Job summary

Ardagh Group in Fremont, OH seeks a Production Manager to lead a 24-hour operation focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement. You will drive process improvements, manage the production schedule, and oversee training programs and teams across multiple crews.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of managerial experience, strong communication skills, and proven proficiency with SAP and MS Office. Beverage can manufacturing experience is highly desired and will be valued in this role.

• Minimum 4 years college or equivalent managerial experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, manufacturers and employees.
• Computer aptitude including MS Office or similar, and SAP.
• Beverage can manufacturing experience is highly desired.

• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained
• Coordinate plant's training program, including the deployment and execution of the AskApp

• Establish a working environment which promotes the importance of employees acting with integrity and in an ethical manner
• Ensure the execution of key internal controls within the area of responsibility
• Demonstrate commitment to the Ardagh core values and policies and procedures

Job description

The Production Manager will manage the production process in a 24-hour operation to achieve company goals for safety, quality, and production. The Production Manager will foster an environment of continuous improvement, monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs, while generating revenue by developing and delivering innovative processes. This individual will also provide process-wide technical support, as well as implement company/industry wide initiatives, policies and goals.
