Zekelman Industries in Farrell, PA is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily plant operations, coordinate labor, and drive safety, quality and continuous improvement on the production floor. Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Associate degree with an emphasis on management or supervision (or equivalent experience).
• Working knowledge of shop floor systems such as MES and SAP or comparable platforms.

Responsibilities

• Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy.
• Performs quality checks on equipment and production areas to ensure customer and quality standards are met.
• Develops work schedules and labor assignments to achieve daily and long-term production goals.
• Delegates responsibilities and ensures accountability across team members.
• Provides training and cross-training; conducts performance evaluations and initiates disciplinary actions as needed.
• Monitors and supervises cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory.
• Generates and reviews daily operations reports to ensure shift continuity and address operational issues.
• Identifies, communicates, and escalates maintenance needs.
• Collaborates with the Quality Department to develop and uphold site-specific quality standards.
• Develops and implements action plans to enhance plant performance and efficiencies.
• Documents workplace injuries, recommends corrective actions, and ensures follow-through on safety initiatives.
• Hires, coaches, and evaluates team members while supporting employee growth and development.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support plant operations.
• Maintains regular, full-time, predictable on-site attendance as an essential function of the role.

About the Role

As a Production Manager at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in leading daily plant operations, coordinating labor assignments, and driving employee development to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality on the production floor. Who You Are

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
