Job summary

Riverside Machine & Engineering in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a results-driven Production Manager to lead our precision manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient production and on-time delivery to aerospace, medical and other high-tech markets.

You will champion continuous improvement, drive cost effectiveness, and collaborate across functions to meet growth objectives while upholding GMP and quality management system requirements.

Qualifications

• Lead manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules, quality expectations, safety standards, and customer are achieved.
• Lead the planning and prioritization of department activities and resources to maximize throughput, efficiency, labor utilization, and equipment performance.
• Manage departmental labor, overtime, scrap, rework, and operating expenses within established budgets.
• Monitor operational production metrics including productivity, efficiency, scrap, downtime, utilization, on-time delivery, and product quality.
• Drive corrective actions and continuous improvements to performance not meeting expectations.
• Identify and drive strategic and system level operational improvements to meet business growth objectives.
• Promote a proactive health and safety culture by identifying hazards, conducting safety observations, investigating incidents, and implementing corrective actions.
• Foster a positive work environment built on teamwork, accountability, communication, respect, and continuous improvement and learning.
• Maintain team's adherence and compliance to GMP, approved manufacturing processes, policies and procedures, and quality management system requirements.
• Lead collaboratively with all production support departments to facilitate optimized production schedule, product flow, and timely material and resource availability.
