Job summary

PrintMatch Ltd is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead a busy print and direct mail operation. You will drive operational excellence, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while supporting business growth.

You will manage shopfloor teams, schedule workloads, coach staff, implement continuous improvement, and collaborate with internal departments to align priorities and materials.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling daily workloads to meet client deadlines
• Managing a team of production operatives
• Adhering to Health & Safety practices and ensuring all staff are aware of guidelines and procedures
• Supporting staff development through training, coaching and performance reviews
• Identifying/implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing performance
• Liaising with internal departments to manage production priorities and material requirements
• Recruiting additional staff members as and when deemed necessary

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to join a well-established and close-knit Print & Direct Mail company.

With a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the production facility runs smoothly, safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards, whilst supporting business growth and customer satisfaction. A print background is a must and exposure to direct mail would be highly advantageous.

Managing a team of shopfloor operatives, the successful candidate will have a hands-on background and be happy to ‘muck-in’ when and where necessary.
