Job summary

Yellowstone Landscape is hiring a Production Manager to lead maintenance crews and oversee landscape enhancement projects. You will coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors, coach staff for safety and productivity, and ensure service quality aligns with client expectations.

Responsibilities include on-site training, daily hours review, labor forecasting, and collaboration with sales and mechanics to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong organization, project management, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual (Preferred) — Spanish knowledge is a plus.
• Prior related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple crew associates focusing on the maintenance operation.
• Lead and manage landscape enhancement services with coordination of materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Coach employees to achieve productivity, safety, and policy adherence.
• Promote safety and maintain clean, neat, and orderly work areas.
• Inspect properties prior to scheduled service and prepare action plans.
• Oversee on-site training and skill development for new and current employees.
• Review production hours daily and adjust records as needed.
• Forecast and allocate labor across geographic locations and communicate instructions to crews.
• Schedule work using appropriate tools and resources; visit sites and meet with customers as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales to ensure client needs are understood and met.
• Partner with Mechanics Team to ensure timely repairs.
• Suggest new processes to improve safety, productivity, and customer service.
• Aim to meet operational goals and ensure jobs are completed to client expectations.
• Assess needs by procuring materials and ensuring proper equipment is on site.
• Mentor direct reports for growth opportunities; manage time-off approvals.
• Participate in interview and selection processes for new crew members.
• Make informed decisions on horticultural best practices and plant identification.

Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.Inspects properties prior to scheduled service in order to properly prepare a specific action plan for the requested service.Assume responsibility for on-site training, skill development activities, and develop classroom instruction as needed for new and current employees.Review production hours daily and turn in any necessary adjustments; Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate mannerMonitor production hours, forecast, and allocate labor as needed throughout an assigned geographic location and communicates work instructions to the crews.Utilize appropriate tools and resources to schedule all work for the crews.Ensure work is on track and make adjustments as needed.Visit sites regularly and attend meetings with customers as needed in order to ensure the quality matches the scope of the work.Partner with the Sales team to ensure speed, simplicity, and confidence for all clients by effectively communicating needs and requests.Take ownership of and partner with the Mechanics Team to ensure repairs are happening in a timely and appropriate manner.Recommend new processes and procedures to improve the operation, work environment, safety, productivity, profitability, and enhance customer service.Assume responsibility of the Operational goals and participate in achieving these goals on a daily basis, assuring all jobs are completed to the client expectations and within allotted hours.Assess needs of the operation by purchasing and locating job-related material.
