About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead day‑to‑day site leadership and manufacturing operations for our custom apparel and Crystal Crush heat press division. This is a hands‑on leadership role at the heart of our Dallas production facility, overseeing the creation of screen‑printed shirts, embellished backpacks, hats, and apparel, as well as crystal mold heat press designs on bags and apparel, while ensuring ongoing efficiency gains, budget management, and scaling of the facility. As Production Manager, you will be responsible for the quality, efficiency, and output of a team of 8–15 production associates, ensuring that every customized item leaving our warehouse meets the highest standards.

We design and produce custom‑decorated apparel and accessories in‑house, combining screen printing, embroidery, and crystal mold heat press techniques to deliver retail‑ready products. Our team is built around craftsmanship, efficiency, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate thrives in a hands‑on manufacturing environment, has experience scaling a facility, possesses a deep understanding of garment decoration processes and art file requirements, and is passionate about building a high‑performance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, schedule, and supervise a production team of 8–15 associates across all decoration disciplines
  • Oversee daily production workflow for screen printing, embroidery, and crystal mold heat press operations
  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly production targets, assign tasks, and monitor throughput to ensure on‑time and on‑quality order fulfillment; coordinate with planning to ensure accurate capacity projections
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability on the production floor for output volume, quality, and pace
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient production environment in compliance with facility standards
  • Implement and enforce quality control checkpoints at every stage of the production process
  • Drive a culture of craftsmanship and pride in every item that leaves the warehouse
  • Review and approve art files for screen printing (separations, spot colors, halftones), embroidery digitizing, and crystal mold heat press layouts prior to production runs
  • Operate and maintain proficiency in design and production software including Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, HotFix, and embroidery digitizing platforms (e.g., Wilcom, Pulse, Hatch)
  • Liaise with the art/design team to ensure files are production‑ready, correctly sized, and optimized for each decoration method
  • Troubleshoot art file issues that could impact print quality, stitch count, or crystal placement accuracy
  • Oversee operation and basic maintenance of screen‑printing presses, embroidery machines, and heat press equipment
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance schedules and elevate repair needs to minimize downtime
  • Monitor ink, thread, and crystal/rhinestone inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase throughput and reduce waste or rework
  • Monitor output and work with planning on investment opportunities for new machinery
  • Train new production associates on equipment operation, quality standards, and safety procedures
  • Conduct on‑floor coaching and performance feedback to develop team skills and accountability
  • Collaborate with leadership on staffing needs, scheduling, and team performance reviews
  • Foster a positive, team‑oriented production culture focused on quality, speed, and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of production floor experience in a garment decoration, screen printing, or custom apparel manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated supervisory or team lead experience managing 5+ production employees
  • Hands‑on knowledge of screen‑printing processes (manual and/or automatic press), embroidery production, and heat press applications
  • Proficiency with art and production software: Adobe Illustrator and/or CorelDRAW; embroidery digitizing software (Wilcom, Pulse, Hatch, or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of art file requirements for each decoration method, including color separations, vector formats, and digitizing specifications
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to quality output
  • Proven ability to manage production schedules, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Effective communicator and team leader with a professional, solutions‑oriented attitude
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with crystal mold heat press or rhinestone transfer production
