Job summary

Crash Champions in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a capable supervisor to oversee body shop production, coordinate repairs, review work, and ensure timely delivery. The role requires leadership of technicians and adherence to repair standards, with willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. A driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of collision industry including high-level knowledge of insurance procedures and requirements.
• Ability to supervise and motivate production personnel.
• Proficient with Computers and other technology.
• Must possess excellent organizational skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assign jobs to Body Technicians and maintain proper job mix to ensure smooth production flow through all departments.
• Coordinate repairs and supplements with Body Technicians and Repair Leader(s); coordinate sublet repairs.
• Review work with Technicians and support with issues/questions about repairs when needed.
• Ensure production is moving on-time to meet delivery requirements.
• Maintain safe production environment and ensure equipment and PPE usage is proper.
• Perform in person quality checks of work and ensure vehicle repairs are completed timely per guidelines.
• Lead team of Body Technicians toward unified goals in daily/weekly meetings.
• Additional responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time delivery: Ensure production is moving as needed to meet timely delivery requirements


• Maintain safe production environment: Ensure production space is safe and clean, i.e. properly maintained equipment and personal protective equipment usage


• Perform Quality Assurance: Perform in person quality checks of work and be able to ensure vehicle repairs are completed timely in accordance with proper repair procedures (ALLDATA, OE guidelines, etc.)


• Lead team: Ability to lead team of Body Technicians toward unified goals as discussed in daily/weekly meetings


• Additional responsibilities
