Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures and improve as necessary. Manage production staff, assign tasks, supervise their work and evaluate performance. Provide coaching, training, and feedback to the production staff and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise. Analyze and optimize the production efficiency, quality, and cost, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare and maintain production reports, records, and documentation. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives driving a continuous improvement culture. Work with the Director of Operations on departmental improvements including capital or resource needs, floorplan improvements, quality root cause and corrective actions. Other duties as assigned.**Qualifications:**High school diploma or equivalent. At lease 5 years of experience in management in a manufacturing environment. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.Job Summary: The Production Manager oversees the manufacturing within a defined department.
