Job summary

Ascentek is hiring a Production Machine Operator to perform repetitive production tasks, label, pack and stack products, and manage materials using a warehouse system. Responsibilities include inspecting, documenting quality, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment on the production floor.

Responsibilities also cover following work orders, setting up lines, handling raw materials, and reporting defects. Training will be provided; minimal travel may be required between locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related production line experience.
• Good command of English and ability to read/understand written instructions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems on the production line.
• Understanding of KPIs and manufacturing packaging line processes.
• Lean principles knowledge.
• Ability to read Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Basic mathematical abilities.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform bottle-filling assemblies and operate sub-assembly machines.
• Follow work orders to produce various products.
• Gather raw materials and set up production lines; produce samples for quality inspection.
• Inspect, label, pack, and load products onto pallets after approval.
• Report defective materials or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and follow safety regulations.
• Document performance and quality of the production line.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines as required.
• Adhere to production schedules with minimal supervision.
• Utilize material handling equipment safely and report repairs needed.
