Job summary

Perdue Farms Inc. is seeking a Line Lead to oversee daily operations on production lines, supporting the supervisor with workforce coordination and workflow execution. You’ll ensure safe, efficient, on-schedule production while guiding team members on the floor.

This role offers a path to leadership development and direct impact on team performance. The position features a base rate of $20.40 per hour, with pay premiums, shift differentials, overtime, and an annual bonus dependent on

Qualifications

Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field.
Lead or supervisory experience in a production environment.
High School diploma beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

Oversee work at various stations along the production lines processing poultry food products.
Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters.
Ensure that the qualities of the products are met according to the product specifications of QA and USDA.
Ensure that all equipment throughout the departments is running smoothly.
Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
Lead and train line team members.
Monitor production lines for efficiency and quality.
Implement safety protocols and report incidents.
Maintain accurate records and reports.
Control labor and material costs.
