Job summary

You will work 12-hour shifts, read production orders in English, document quality checks, and assist with line setup and maintenance. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Rotating 12-hour shift: 7:00am–7:00pm.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 12 hours.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Learn basic operations of production department(s) in processing materials or manufacturing products in an industrial organization.
• Assume responsibility for the finished product.
• Read and understand production orders in English.
• Document quality checks on time, verifying correct count and label.
• Assist in line setup, breakdown, and maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; keep work area tidy.
• Guide and direct coworkers on assigned machines.
• Distinguish between acceptable and unacceptable quality standards.
• Operate guillotine and scrapping as needed for production.
