You will drive process improvements, coordinate maintenance, and ensure regulatory compliance, with a focus on efficient, safe, and cost-effective production operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, metallurgy, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years in metals processing or similar heavy industry.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices; experience with roasting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise operators and technicians.
• Develop production schedules with management and ensure targets are met.
• Enforce quality control measures to meet industry standards.
• Improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a safe working environment; conduct safety meetings and investigations.
• Monitor materials and finished product inventory levels.
• Coordinate with logistics and procurement to support supply chain operations.
• Schedule and oversee equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and policies.
• Identify and facilitate training for team development.
