Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Lead for the Rendering line on 2nd shift at our Milan, MO facility. This onsite role focuses on maintaining safe, high‑quality meat processing while guiding and supporting production teammates throughout the shift.

You’ll work with hand tools and equipment, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and help train staff. The position requires ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 60 lbs, and tolerate cold and humid production areas;

• Able to work in cold/warm, wet and humid production environments.
• Ability to follow oral/written instructions and work overtime if required.

Leads will support the management team by understanding the full operations of the line, as well as supporting training and development of production employees. These positions can be physically demanding and require good hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail. Production Leads must be able to work their scheduled shift and may be required to work overtime depending on production demands.**Physical Demands & Work Environment***To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
