Job summary

The Bernard Group, Inc. is seeking a Production Lead to join our Millwork team in Chanhassen, MN. This full-time role involves directing and tracking wood shop projects while managing both line employees and temporary workers to ensure timely completion of projects.

Qualified candidates must have at least a High School Diploma or GED, 3 years of fabrication or Millwork experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Compensation ranges from $49,441 to $53,518 annually with various benefits including paid parental leave and retirement savings programs.

Job description

Production Lead to join our Millwork team. In this role, you'll direct, control, and track wood shop projects from beginning to end while managing line employees and temp workers.

Shift Available: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime Eligible) This is a 40 hour work week.

A variety of these traits will help land you this job. If you have:

• a High School Diploma or GED
• a minimum of 3 years experience in fabrication or Millwork
• kitting or assembly experience is a plus

On top of that you must:

In this position, you will:

• review projects and create a vision for line set up and flow
• direct team on tasks needed to complete the job on time
• monitor the quality control on lines
• ensure all of the necessary paperwork needed for the projects are utilized
• complete time studies as needed
• be setting up production lines
• assist in the training and development of both regular and temporary workforce
• perform miscellaneous projects and completes various tasks as requested by management

Compensation Range: $49,441 - $53,518 annually
