Job summary

Vestis in Hibbing, MN is seeking a warehouse associate for its industrial laundry facility. You will safely and efficiently handle towels, napkins, and other linens, staging and feeding items to the ironer to minimize wrinkles and tangling.

This role requires counting and sorting merchandise, identifying damaged items, and maintaining accurate bundles. You may push carts up to 300 lbs, work in a warehouse setting, and support a team on scheduled shifts with potential weekends.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Stages and feeds cotton or linen merchandise on ironer properly to reduce wrinkling and tangling.
• Receives and folds cotton or linen merchandise from ironer.
• Identifies and segregates merchandise not meeting quality standards (rips, tears, holes, stains).
• Verifies merchandise quantity and bundles by type; places bundles in storage carts.
• Manoeuvres full and empty carts.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment; observes best practices in production.
