Job summary

GEOTEK LLC in Stewartville, MN is seeking a Crew Lead to direct the daily flow of production on the shift. You will supervise the team, ensure proper run setup, meet production metrics and quality targets, troubleshoot problems, maintain run records and drive improvements.

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and multiple shifts (Day, Night, Weekend) with a $3.00 per hour differential for nights/weekends. Prior supervision and strong communication are essential.

• Previous supervision experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and pay attention to details.
• Able to read and write the English language.
• Mechanically inclined and able to read a tape measure.
• Able to work and lead with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Strong emphasis on quality, productivity, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily supervision of the production crew.
• Ensures crews follow standard operating procedures & Work Instructions.
• Coordinates exchanging setups on the machine.
• Identifies problems and cost savings solutions in the production process.
• Actively participates in department process improvement and efficiency.
• Prepares finished products for secondary operations.
• Monitors and/or mixes resin and coatings.
• Develop and train co-workers.

Compensation:

GEOTEK's compensation model is skill-based, and starting pay levels are determined by previous experience and transferable skills. The range for this position breaks down as follows:

• Level 1: $24.25
• Level 2: $24.98 - $26.75
• Level 3: $27.55 - $28.25
• Level 4: $29.00 - $30.00

Hiring manager will determine pay level based off experience, skillset, and knowledge. Employees working night and weekend shifts are eligible for an additional $3.00 per hour shift differential.

• The position is located on the production floor, standing for up to 10 hours a day.

• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
