Pinch A Penny, a POOLCORP Company, is seeking a Production Lead for the Clearwater plant. This hands-on role leads production on the floor, supports operators, and ensures quality and on-time delivery to the schedule.

You will train staff, monitor materials, maintain 5S+ standards, and help drive safety and continuous improvement on a fast-paced manufacturing line.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to maintain safety standards and PPE policy.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with MS Office and AS400/JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Understands and communicates the production schedule; ensures department standards are met.
• Performs quality checks and first article inspections to confirm Suncoast standards.
• Trains new employees on department functions and processes; ongoing coaching.
• Monitors incoming packaging and chemicals to keep production flowing without interruptions.
• Maintains 5S+ standards; documents lot codes as needed; signs off on clean-out and shutdown procedures.

A key position in our production team, the Production Lead must be organized, detail oriented, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on, plant-floor leadership role. The Production Lead is expected to spend the majority of their shift actively working on the production floor, supporting operators, monitoring production flow, performing quality checks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring standards are being followed in real time. **On a daily basis our Production Lead:*** Understands and communicates the production schedule and ensures department standards are met.* Performs quality checks; First article inspections and in-process check to ensure lines are producing to the Suncoast standard.* Trains new employees in different department functions such as, basic floor processes, product flow and procedures, provide on-going training to the team as required.* Monitors incoming packaging and chemical materials so that the production station runs un-interrupted throughout the shift.* Maintains Suncoast 5S+ standards in the department.* Dispositions segregated non-conforming material.* Ensures proper removal and disposal of chemical liners, supersacks, and other packaging remnants.* Documents lot codes in the department as needed.* Signs off on clean out and shut down procedures.* Any other duties, as assigned. **What You Will Need:*** 1-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing, production or industrial environment.* Ensure a safe work environment by enforcing company policy on Safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), housekeeping, material handling and operation standards.* Maintain a clean-shaven face in all areas where a respirator seal is required and be capable of wearing a respirator for up to 40 hours per week, as required by the position and applicable safety protocols.* Extremely well organized with an ability to prioritize work with a keen eye for detail.* Understanding of basic industrial math skills.* Proficient with MS Office suite and AS400 (J.D.
