We are currently hiring for 1st Shift Production Laborers (Grinders) to join our team. The Production Laborers is responsible for assisting with general production needs in accordance with their designated manufacturing areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work areas are clean and clear of debris and scrap material, placed in proper receptacles
• Assist with general production labor needs such as grinding or deburring parts
• Punch cut parts out of sheet metal
• Place and organize punch parts onto pallets
• Move material using pallet jack and/or forklift to appropriate work areas
• Operate the PEM inserter machine
• Read and interpret technical drawings, including material type and thickness
• Identify burrs and surface imperfections on metal parts
• Use and read calipers and other precision measuring tools
• Strictly adhere to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
• Perform all other duties as assigned
• Be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and always meet high-quality standards

Job Requirements

• Ability to work effectively with limited to no supervision
• Experience in warehouse environment preferred
• Ability to communicate verbally
• Excellent time management skills
• Willingness to adapt and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Schedule: 7am to 3:30pm

Pay: $20-24/hr.
