Job summary

Vital Farms is seeking a Production & Supply Coordinator to maintain precise inventory flow and production schedules on the floor. You will track materials from receiving to finished goods, coordinate in ERP systems, and ensure every product status is accurate and timely.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ownership, and delivering on-time production outcomes. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on ethical food production.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in logistics/production planning or related operations role.
• Experience in fast-paced or food manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to use data to drive decisions and problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory discrepancies and document in logs.
• Validate NR to restrict logs and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct daily inventory inquiries for cooler and dry goods.
• Manage MES queue to maintain zero balance by end of shift.
• Perform daily cycle counts and follow up on incomplete counts.
• Ensure paperwork is complete for inventory movements.
• Verify production batches are closed and adjustments recorded.
• Prepare inventory journals and documentation.
• Document root causes for unresolved exceptions.
• Support month-end close activities.
• Validate inventory corrections and communicate status to crew.
• Monitor inventory aging risk and communicate findings.
