Job summary

Story Cannabis is hiring a Production Inventory Associate to support daily inventory operations within our Maryland manufacturing facility. The role focuses on accurate tracking, documentation, and movement of cannabis products in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking while maintaining compliance with state regulations. Evening and weekend availability, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background

Responsibilities

• Provide inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control.
• Maintain daily records of goods received and shipments.
• Manage and upgrade inventory system as directed.
• Conduct spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
• Handle all inventory movements across the facility.
• Assist with periodic physical inventory audits.
• Perform other related duties as requested.

Overview:

The Production Inventory Associate is responsible for supporting daily inventory operations within the manufacturing or processing department to ensure accurate tracking, movement, and documentation of cannabis products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated cannabis facility.

Responsibilities:

• Provides inventory reports to the purchasing and inventory control manager.
• Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
• Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager.
• Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
• Handles all inventory movements across the facility
• Assists with periodic physical inventory audits.
• Performs other related duties as requested.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.
• Previous inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage high stress situations and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends, if requested
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain/maintain all state-required cannabis badging, which includes a pre-employment background check.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license or state ID card.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for long durations.
• Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Allergen warnings - Potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens.
• May require daily use of provided PPE.

Maryland Pay Range

$19.25 - $19.25 USD
