JBS Lenoir USA is hiring for 1st shift Production Team Members in Lenoir, NC. This fast-paced plant processes beef and pork for Retail Ready products. Starting pay is $19.15 per hour, with opportunities for training and career development.

Ideal candidates have a solid work history, attention to quality, and willingness to perform repetitive tasks in a cold environment. Responsibilities include cutting meat, packaging, and maintaining product flow according to schedule.

Job Description

• Understand trim specifications.
• Style to customer specifications.
• Maintain style pace to labor standards.
• Identify all retail beef or pork product specifications.
• Identify all retail beef or pork packaging specifications.
• Understand grade, enhancement, ascorbic acid requirements.
• Understand Food Safety, GMP, SSOP requirements.
• Maintain product flow and procedures.
• Understand muscle orientation and different primals.
• Understand production schedule and rotation of items.
• Understand table position rotation/assignment based on production schedule.
• Training provided onsite.

Exposure and Risk

• Cold, wet, damp environment.
• Standing for prolonged periods of time.
• Uneven walking surfaces and slippery floors.
