International Paper is hiring Production Workers for our Munster, Indiana facility. Pay starts at $20.36 per hour with shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role involves operating production machinery, following safety rules, and supporting shipping and maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, prior manufacturing experience, and a stable work history. Willingness to work five days per week with overtime is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse helpful.
• Experience in corrugated or food manufacturing highly preferred.
• Stable work history with good attendance.
• Willingness to work five-day week with overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Operate production machinery.
• Use touchscreen controls and enter data into plant software.
• Read work orders and specs to learn customer requirements.
• Inspect quality and quantity, document nonconformities.
• Operate forklift to move materials and support shipping.
• Complete time sheets and reports.
• Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping.
