Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a hard-working warehouse associate for general operations, shipping and receiving. The role involves unloading trucks, building pallets, and loading equipment with attention to safety and accuracy.

Candidates should be in good physical condition, able to lift 40 to 50 lb, and capable of working overtime when required. Prior forklift certification is a plus, and basic computer skills are helpful.

Qualifications

• Experience in general warehouse operations.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Pallet jack operation experience.
• Strong shipping/receiving capability.
• Ability to operate and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and build pallets, shrink wrap pallets, and load trucks.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack equipment.
• Operate UPS Cafe and assist in dock activities.

Position Overview

Seeking hard-working and experienced individual for General warehouse operations in shipping and receiving.

Essential Job Functions

• Unloading trucks /building pallets by customer/shrink wrapping pallets/loading trucks
• Machine Operator experience with fork lift and pallet jack equipment
• Operating UPS Cafe

Requirements

• Excellent physical condition with ability to lift 40 to 50 lb. boxes and work in fast paced environment
• Numeric recognition and accurate numeric sorting
• Certified to operate Fork Lift a plus
• Computer skills preferred
• Good work ethic and self-motivated
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to follow and lead strong Safety environment
• Ability to learn and understand multiple warehouse positions as needed
• Must be willing to work overtime if required
